Devastation, chaos and rebuilding in the aftermath of Nepal's 2015 earthquakes

This project focuses on the vulnerability of infrastructure and precarious life in the aftermath of Nepal’s 2015 earthquakes—capturing the state of material chaos and devastation and its eventual consequences on post-earthquake rebuilding of homes, public infrastructure, and social life in Nepal.

The research was conducted from May 2015 to November 2016 in different parts of Nepal, including in a district that was an epicenter of May 12 earthquake.
